Fee of the banquet for accompanied persons 5,000 Japanese Yen
Payment must be made only in cash (Japanese Yen) at the registration
desk during the Symposium. We do not accept credit cards and checks.
Currency exchange rate is now 110 Japanese Yen/1 US$.
The registration desk is provided at the places below.
Reception at Hotel Century Sagami-Ono : 17:00pm- 19:00pm, Nov.10
ISAS : 8:30am-9:20am, Nov.11.
To avoid the confusion at the first day of the Symposium, we strongly
recommend you to make the registration at the reception, if possible.
Financial support
We will support the living expenses in Japan for the foreign participants
who required them. Details will be informed directly to individual persons.
As for the Japanese participants, we will take contacts soon to prepare
the documentation for the financial supports.
Hotel
Dead line of the room reservation at the Hotel Century Sagami-Ono has
already passed, but there still remain some vacant rooms. The participants who
have not researved the hotel room yet should make a contact as soon as possible.
Please inform the Hotel that the room reservation is for the "ISAS
symposium".
Shuttle bus from the Hotel to ISAS is available in the morning and evening.
It takes about 30 min. Detailed schedule is given at the registration.
Regular bus services are also available between the hotel and the ISAS.

Restaurants, and a bank are available in the hotel building.
Take Narita Express (JR) from Narita Int. Airport to Shinjuku.
It takes 1 hour and 18 min.
Change the train to Odakyuu line at Shinjuku, and get off at Sagami-Ono
Station. Sagami-Ono is approx. 40 min. by express from Sinjuku.
Hotel Century is located at the upper floor of the station.
Banquet
Banquet is scheduled in the evening of November 13 at Hotel Century
dining room. No extra cost is required for the registered participants.
ISAS tour
ISAS tour is scheduled in the afternoon of November 14 (13:30-14:30).
The IRTS recovered by the space shuttle, flight model of MUSES-B (VLBI
satellite) etc. will be observable.
Weather
Average temperature in November at Tokyo is 17 C but it is a little chilly
in the morning (about 9 C). In this season climate is usually fine and mild.
