IRC Aperture Correction Table

The file aperture-cor.dat shows the encircled energy at a
given pixel radius. It is normalized at 10 pixels for
NIR and 7.5 pixels for MIR-S/L.  Those pixel numbers
correspond to the aperture with which the in-orbit
absolute calibration was carried out (see IRC Data
User Manual).

This table was created from phase 2 imaging data and
cannot be applied to phase 3 observations.

Also note that the image size of the NIR data (N2, N3,
and N4) depends on the attitude stability. The table
should not be applied for NIR data without examination
of the image of individual frames.  It is strongly recommended
to create an aperture correction table from individual images
for NIR data.  For MIR-S/L, the attitude stability does not
cause a serious problem in general and the table can be 
applied in most cases.
