IRC Calibration files (2011/02/25) A new set of calibration files, flats, PSFs and artifacts are stored in the following three directories. Details of the derivation of these files are given in Arimatsu et al. (2011, in prep). A brief summary is given below. Note that there may be some color dependence on the object in the PSFs and artifacts. FLAT/ New flat data for the L15 and L24 bands. They are installed in the latest version of the imaging toolkit (20110225). PSF/ New high-dynamic-range PFSs for the S9, S11, L15, and L24 bands. They are sampled with a 0.5 pixel scale and normalized in the way that the integrated signal within the 7.5 pixel radius is unity. ARTIFACT/ Artifact patterns at the L15 and L24 bands. They are divided into two types depending on the movement relative to the original object as A, and B and C. Refer to Arimatsu et al. (2011) for details. These patterns appear when a bright object is located at the center of the array. The intensities are normalized in the way that the integrated signal of the original object within the 7.5 pixel radius is unity. The patterns refer to the original image before the aspect ratio correction. The amounts of the movement relative to the original object are given by: artifact X-direction Y-direction A: 0.364 x (1 +/- 0.051) 0.194 x (1 +/- 0.012) B & C: -1.426 x (1 +/- 0.0049) -1.272 x (1 +/- 0.0028) === EOF
