# IRC imaging software Change Log ====================================================================== [20150331] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a major update of the IRC imaging toolkit for Phase 1 & 2, which has been developed and tested with IRAF 2.16. Various changes that improve the quality of the output images have been adopted. This version of the toolkit is used to produce "processed and calibrated" IRC Pointed Observation Images, publicly released in March 2015. Please refer to README_20150331.txt (also included in the package) for details of the updates. ====================================================================== [20131202] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a minor update of the IRC imaging toolkit for Phase 1 & 2, which has been developed and tested with IRAF v2.14 & 2.16. Please note that the toolkit has not been tested with the latest IRAF v2.16.1. Please refer to README_20131202.txt (also included in the package) for details of the updates. ====================================================================== [20110304] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- A minor bug is found in the task 'coadd2.cl' that may be used when the normal coadd is not successful. We updated the script. If you are using the toolkit package version 20110225, replace 'irc/pkg/bluebox/coadd2.cl' with the new one, then type 'unlearn_all' or 'unlearn coadd2' to initialize the input parameters. The package of version 20110304 includes the corrected file. Note that the procedure is not a part of 'pipeline' processing. Unless you did not run the program specifically your results were not affected. ====================================================================== [20110225] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (1) The main reduction script 'pipeline' has been divided into two scripts: 'pipeline1' & 'pipeline2'. (2) The reduction order has been changed. (3) New options for dark subtractions are available. (4) The latest flat patterns for L15 & L24 have been included. (The conversion factors for the flux calibration listed in the Data Users Manual are still valid.) (5) Handling of masked pixels has been modified. (6) New tasks for removing the effect of the earth-shine light and for coadding frames, which uses the IRAF task 'xregister', have been developed. For more detail of these revisions, please see another document 'README_20110225_detail.txt' included in the tar package.
