1. Planned Schedule of Calling for Whitepapers
for Roman-Subaru Synergistic Observations
The
Steering Group (SG) of Roman-Subaru Synergistic Observations plans to Call for
White Papers from Roman and Subaru science communities.
The Call will
be announced in the same web page in September, 2024.

Based on
the White Papers, the SG will identify a set of Themes for the programs of the
100 nights.
The
detailed process to define the final set of programs will be included in the
White Paper call.
This will
include both internal and external reviews.
2. Workshop
In order
to deepen collaborative efforts, widely discuss the merits of various programs,
and to boost teaming for the White Paper submissions, we will have a dedicated
Workshop in December 2024.
Prior to
the workshop, we will also ask for submissions of slides for short presentation
to guide discussions for the workshop. We will provide a PPT template for these
short presentations. This will be aimed at members of the coordinated teams in
Roman and Subaru science communities, including NASA Roman Science Teams [WFS,
PIT, CPP], JAXA Roman science teams.
Coordinated proposals from the Roman and Subaru communities are greatly
encouraged. People who are not members of any Roman science team can submit
proposals for presentations, but they are encouraged to coordinate with members
of the existing Roman/Subaru community.
The
deadline for submission of the pre-workshop slides will be October 31st,
2024.
Submission
details will be also announced on the workshop web page.Submission of the short presentation slides is
not mandatory for contributing for the talks in the Workshop or for submission
of White Papers. But it is highly recommended to put topics in the discussion
area in the Workshop.
