Contribution papers to the SPIE conference "IR Space Telescopes and Instruments" Waikoloa, Hawaii 2002.
"Infrared Camera (IRC) onboard ASTRO-F" by Wada et al. Proc. SPIE 4850, 179 (2003)
describes the current status of the development of the IRC and the
latest results of the performance evaluations, including the detector
(SBRC189/InSb, CRC744/Si:As) noise/dark characteristics, PSF of the
camera optics, and the predictions of sensitivity.
"Evaluation of the mid- and near-infrared focal plane arrays for Japanese infrared astronomical satellite ASTRO-F" by Ishihara et al. Proc. SPIE 4850, 1008 (2003)
describes the extensive performance evaluations of the detectors
SBRC189/InSb and CRC744/Si:As.
This also presents the new operational mode of these arrays, "scan mode".
