A single pointing is an observation at a single sky position with a single instrument, which may consists of a series of measurements.
During operations, the actual time for slew to the position and the aquisition of the target is calculated during the mission planning process (see Sect. 4.5). Prior to operations an average overhead of 180s has to be assumed.
