Peaking-Up

 

Peaking-up, or Peak-up, was originally

designed for observations which require higher pointing accuracy, than the accuracy specified for the spacecraft. Since the absolute pointing error (APE) is only only 3.5 arcsec (see Sect.  2.1.3), peaking-up is no longer applied.
